Flourless Chocolate Quinoa Cookies

flourlesschocolatecookiesOver the summer, I was honored to be invited to be a part of The Blender Girl’s last online party of 2012.

Who doesn’t love a good party?

Tess, the genius behind Healthy Blender Recipes has an amazing line up of easy food processor recipes in this amazing event which is being hosted by Breville USA.

Not only do you get great recipes from some of the top bloggers, chefs and cookbook authors (no clue how I was included) but you can also enter to win a Breville Sous Chef Food Processor.

This is the very same food processor I have been wanting since it first came out.  (Seriously guys, sharing this give away is a true act of love…. I waaaant it!)

Yesterday I shared my recipe for Flourless Gluten Free Vegan Chocolate Quinoa Cookies, and you guys can check out the recipe here.

Those of you who have been wanting a cookie that doesn’t use quinoa flakes will want to make sure you check this one out.  (It uses cooked quinoa!)

And don’t forget to check out all the other amazing recipes and enter to win

P.S. If one of you guys wins you at least have to send me a picture of you using it, K?  And also pretend that its not weird that I would ask.

Very excited to try these cookies. I've read the recipe a few times now though and cannot quite figure out when to add the flax/chia eggs…..they are in the recipe ingredients, but not in the recipe instructions. Will try them anyways. :)

I made these tonight. They have a great taste and the added chocolate chips was amazing. I'm wondering why they are a little greasy and if anyone else has had this issue. Maybe I did something wrong or maybe omitting the oil would be ok? Thanks for sharing this recipe! xox

Hmmmmm?..I've made these a couple of times nd haven't had an issue. Did you make any substitutions at all? Let me know and I will re test the recipe,

The other thing is maybe there was a difference in the chocolate we used? Some chocolate has oil added to it to help it melt easier.
